Getting Around Las Vegas
If you stay at the Las Vegas, walking and taxis are the easiest way to get around Las Vegas. Renting a car it is recommended if you plan to explore the Las Vegas Valley. Taxis can not be hailed on the street, but they are readily available at all casino entries. Ask your driver to take the side streets if you are trying to lower the strip.

Although there are many mega-casinos glamors of the Strip, the center continues to attract diehard players with their loose slots. Once popular among pensioners and devotees of $4.99 prime rib buffet, the center has begun to appeal to young partiers and families. Almost any casino, in addition to imposing frozen drinks, go-go dancers and frequent free concerts-everything from local acts to marquee names like Little River Band, Lady Antebellum, and Jefferson Starship. After Fremont Street cleaned and installed a canopied screen of 12.5 million dazzling LEDs, which began to attract families with a zip line, carnival fare and Elvis impersonators posing for pictures. In 2012, the city opened the Mob Museum, chronicling the colorful history of Las Vegas.

The Strips continues far beyond than many out-of-towners believe.
